Night Vision

The dark does not build character. It reveals it.

  • Wisdom (Stoic: Marcus Aurelius, Meditations) — Truth (Christ: John 14:6)
  • Courage (Stoic: Seneca, Letters) — Sacrifice (Christ: John 15:13)
  • Temperance (Stoic: Epictetus, Enchiridion) — Humility (Christ: Matthew 11:29)
  • Justice (Stoic: Marcus Aurelius, Meditations) — Mercy (Christ: Luke 6:36)
  • Endurance (Stoic: Epictetus — sustine et abstine) — Love (Christ: John 13:34)
  • Acta Non Verba (On the crest)

The night does not get brighter. You learn to see in it.
